•  Supplemental Agreement with Authors

    Authors have special rights and responsibilities deriving from them publishing books which can have
    broad distribution and developmental impact.

    These books may be used within educational or work settings.

    They may also be electronically read, with knowledge of the reader, and their reaction to different parts
    of the text.

    Drafting and Editing


    I agree to avoid artificial intelligence.


    I agree to be careful about the use of social media, including taking any suggestions, given there are
    extensive models to shape language, to share personal information of readers, far beyond what has
    changed election results in numerous countries.

    Personal information and stories has already made way into visual media; I will avoid having it do so in
    my writing.

    Publication

    I agree not to intentionally reference any individuals, their names, experiences, or other things relevant
    that may be associated through artificial intelligence.

    I agree to avoid italics, bold, and other emphasis of any words, unless necessary, and then attempt to
    make sure there is no other possible meaning.

    I agree to avoid any words (or parts of words) that may have double meaning, body parts, which may be
    drafted in sentences or paragraphs to provide personal information on individuals.

    I agree to have anyone read through the book who may be affected, including those close to me, to
    looks for evidence of artificial intelligence in words, and personal references.

    I agree to have individuals familiar with medical terms, sexual terms, read through and recommend any
    changes where they are concerned about the possibility of their use.

    I agree to avoid artificial intelligence, and to demand the editors and publishing house avoids artificial
    intelligence. When they use it, there should be clarification about what is used and how it is used, and a
    statement that excludes the use any personal information about any individuals, or an attempt to
    manipulate language by that program.

    I agree to have someone look at graphics and layout for what is mentioned in this document.

    I agree to avoid any and all abbreviations, if at all possible.

    I expect to work with editors and publishing houses that are knowledgeable about artificial intelligence,
    experimentation, and the potential harms, and committed to avoiding participating in it, when possible,
    including taking numerous steps to safeguard the privacy and well-being of my readers.

    I agree to personally avoid the use of artificial intelligence in the creation of our work in any other way.

    I agree not to quickly change the book including the font, wording, etc.

    I agree to give anyone in my life read through throughout the process, and of the final product, with the
    option to pull the final product at the publisher’s cost, if it is inconsistent with the approved proof.

    I agree not to use names, etc. that may be the product of artificial intelligence
